Apple Finally Releases OS X 10.8.3 To the Public

After releasing the 14th beta build of OS X 10.8.3 to developers earlier this week, Apple has now released the latest build of Mountain Lion to the public.

OS X 10.8.3 includes a couple of new features, such as the ability to redeem iTunes giftcards in the Mac App Store using Mac’s FaceTime camera. Support for installing Windows 8 via Boot Camp, is now available, along with some other bug fixes.

Software Update Apple has released the OS X 10.8.3 Update for Mac users running Mountain Lion. Another day, another OS X 10.8.3 developer beta.

Apple has seeded yet another OS X 10.8.3 beta in the Mac Dev Center. This specific build has no known issues, and Apple asks third-party developers to focus on testing a few more areas of the OS.

Today Apple seeded a new beta of OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3 to developers in the Mac Dev Center. The build number is “12D43″ and the release contains no known issues.

This is the second 10.8.3 beta to be released after the original was seeded back in November. It was previously discovered that OS X 10.8.3 hints at the faster AMD Radeon 7000 chip making its way to the rumored Mac Pro  [Read More...]
