The best GTA game is going mobile.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is the best thing that ever happened to the “Games” folder on my iPad. It’s one of my favorite games of all time, and I love that I can play it whenever, wherever now that it’s on iOS. If you haven’t already snapped it up, now’s a great time, because it’s on sale for the first time since it hit  [Read More...]

You should be dancin', yeah.

You should be dancin’, yeah.

I’m sitting here bobbin’ my head to these fresh playlists, straight outta Liberty City, Chinatown, Vice City, and other locations in Rockstar’s flagship series of games, Grand Theft Auto.

I’m not playing the games through, either. All the songs are set up in Spotify and iTunes by Rockstar itself, from the radio stations in the GTA series, including Grand Theft Auto IV, Episodes  [Read More...]

Listening to the myriad of wonderful podcasts out there is a great thing, but having all those podcasts take up tons of space on an iPhone or iPod touch isn’t so great. Each episode of an audio podcast can easily run between 30MB to 90MB depending on the length of the show, so it’s not uncommon for a sizable podcast library to slowly accumulate into GB’s of storage taken up, particularly if you’re not going through and manually trashing the  [Read More...]

I know what I’ll be doing this weekend.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is finally available to download on Android (nearly!) and iOS, priced at $ 4.99. Rockstar Games has brought the hugely popular title to mobile to celebrate its 10th anniversary — as it did with Grand Theft Auto 3 last year — and it has made a number of improvements that will ensure you enjoy the game even more this time around.

I am so excited for this.

After announcing back in October that it will bring Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to Android and iOS to celebrate the game’s 10th anniversary, Rockstar Games went quiet on the release, leaving us all to wonder when it would finally arrive. It even had me searching the App Store for ‘Vice City’ on a daily basis in the hope that it would suddenly appear.

The company has now  [Read More...]

The best GTA game is going mobile.

Rockstar Games brought Grand Theft Auto 3 to Android and iOS last December, and I’ve been playing it over and over ever since; it’s one of my favorite games on mobile. I was delighted, then, when Rockstar announced today that its successor, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, is also being ported to Android and iOS to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Like Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City will be an  [Read More...]

We looooove Rockstar Games’s new iOS port of their seminal classic Grand Theft Auto III. Heck, here’s the proof. It was already worth at least ten times each penny that was being asked of it’s initial $ 4.99 asking price. Now though? It’s just a little under three bucks. That makes you a downright idiot if you don’t start downloading right this second. Do it!

I’ve been so excited for the iOS port of Grand Theft Auto 3 that as soon as I opened my eyes this morning, I reached over to my iPhone and checked the App Store to see if it had arrived. (Sad, I know.) As promised, it was there, and having played it for a little while this morning, I can assure you it’s better than you ever imagined. The iOS release  [Read More...]

Grand Theft Auto lll is perhaps the single most influential game of my generation’s adolescence and it should be available soon for those of us unlucky enough to live in the past. I’m looking at you future dwellers of Australia and New Zealand. This year marks GTAlll’s tenth anniversary, and Rockstar is keeping its promise to release the game simultaneously on iOS and Android on December 15. The game that created the sand-box genre will be available for $4.99 in  [Read More...]

iOS developers aren’t the only ones slashing prices for Black Friday 2011; there’s also some awesome discounts to be found in the Mac App Store. One of the best we’ve discovered this morning is over half off all three of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto titles for Mac. That includes Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. All of which have been reduced  [Read More...]
