A new Mac malware has been found in the wild that allowed attackers to steal data and install unauthorized apps on a compromised machine. While iOS may not be as flexible or as customizable as Android, on the whole it looks a whole lot nicer. Android is steadily improving, that’s for sure, but it’s hard to deny that iOS developers appear to spend more time making their apps prettier, even if you’re a diehard Android fan.

Of course Tim Cook wouldn’t talk about any future plans for the Apple TV, but he did explain why Apple is slower to make improvements to the Apple TV.

Even though Apple sold 1.3 million Apple TVs in Q4, Cook said that  [Read More...]

The iPad mini is a great looking device and all that, but people seemed to be pretty disappointed in the price point. While other 7-inch tablets usually start out in the $ 200-$ 250 price range, the iPad mini costs $ 329 for the base model.

After the keynote yesterday, journalists were given an opportunity to play with the newly announced Apple products, while Tim Cook and Phil Schiller mingled with the  [Read More...]

Last week a number of people noticed that the lens flare on their iPhone 5 is really purple. When you have an off-screen light source the iPhone 5′s lens turns the light into a purplish hue, rather than the bright white color the light would be when it’s on-screen. All lenses have lens flare, and sometimes it’s purple, but the iPhone 5′s seemed to be more pronounced that others.
