iOS 7

Over the last few months developers and websites haven’t seen much iOS 7 beta traffic coming out of Apple’s set of IP addresses in Cupertino. However, over the last few days traffic from devices running iOS 7 has increased for a number of websites and apps.

Onswipe has reported that it has seen a big spike in traffic on its partner sites that run its HTML5 optimized mobile websites. Cult of  [Read More...]

This is the cover of the favorite album of iOS 7 beta testers.

It’s not uncommon to see early versions of upcoming iOS and Mac releases pop up in server logs — we’ve seen occasional blips from iOS 7 and OS X 10.9 for a while now in our own server logs — but what is less common is actually looking over an iOS 7 beta tester’s shoulder and checking out what  [Read More...]

Like the last build of 10.8.4, the release notes don’t contain anything significant, but devs will surely find new stuff once they get to digging through the OS. Apple asks developers to focus on Wi-Fi, Graphics Drivers, and Safari and says there  [Read More...]

Remember Quicksilver? The lightweight Mac utility used to be the go-to app launcher on the desktop, but that was years ago. A lack of updates combined with the rise of more feature-rich alternatives like Alfred turned the attention away from Quicksilver long ago.

Now the developers behind the app are breathing new life into Quicksilver with a major update. Quicksilver 1.0 has been released, which marks the  [Read More...]

iOS-6-Jailbreak-iPhone-5-Cydia-2

Apple doesn’t like jailbreaks. Never has, never will… which is why it’s odd that the evasi0n jailbreak, first unleashed to the world with iOS 6.1, has seen two small bug fix releases of iOS come and go — iOS 6.1.1 and iOS 6.1.2 — that don’t fix the exploit.

Better get your jailbreak in while you can, though, because word is that Apple is now beta testing a new version of iOS  [Read More...]
