Retina MacBook Pro Shipping Estimates Now 5-7 Days On Apples Website

Apple had some issues with initial shipments of the MacBook Pro with Retina display, but things are starting to look better. U.S. shipping estimates for the new laptop are now at a more reasonable 5-7 business days. Apple’s website previously said that it would take 1-2 weeks for new orders to ship, with orders taking nearly a month to ship back in mid-July.

Analyst Estimates Strongly Divided Over Apple Q3 Earnings

Apple is set to announce its quarterly earnings today and host a conference call at 2:00 PM Pacific, so naturally, analysts have been making last minute predictions about what they think today’s results may bring.

Analyst Estimates Apple Has $74 Billion In Cash Overseas

According to Barron’s today, Apple tops the list of tech companies keeping large amounts of cash reserves overseas. Barron’s quotes Moody’s Investor Services as estimating Apple’s overseas cash supply at $ 74 billion, which is higher than the $ 64 billion of last year.

J.P. Morgan Holiday Estimates Lifted – More iPhones and Fewer iPads

J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz recently issued a note to clients where he announced the revised estimates, noting that �Santa’s sleigh needs more room for iPhones.� The firm�s previous estimate of 25.3 million units has now changed, predicting iPhone shipments of 28 million for the holiday quarter. iPad 2 Demand Pushes 2011 IDC Tablet Shipping Estimates Even Higher

With the iPad 2 serving as the primary underlying basis for the hike, the International Data Corporation (IDC) has elevated its global tablet shipment outlook (from 50.4 units to 53.5 million units) even though 1st quarter shipments were less than record-breaking.

iPad 2 Buyers Reporting Fastest Delivery Estimates from AT&T

On Friday, Nick reported that Apple had begun estimating deliveries for the first batch of online iPad 2 purchases to take place between March 18th-March 25th.
