Now that’s pretty. Apple just posted a HD video of its new, poignant TV ad, “Photos Every Day,” on its YouTube Channel.

In the ad, a beautiful solo piano piece plays over images of people backpacking, skate boarding, running, window shopping, beach combing, travelling, and in the rain taking pictures of cityscapes, concert, crowds, dessert, dinner, gymnastics, goofing off, landscapes, jellyfish, and tourists in cars, in houses, out in nature, and from above and under beds.  [Read More…]

Abstergo is derived from a Latin root that means “to wipe away.”

Developed by Joshua Tucker and Andrew Richardson, Abstergo improves Notification Center by adding some subtle features. It won’t blow you away, but it will make  [Read More…]

How many times have you seen a trailer for an upcoming movie and thought, “That looks interesting. I’ll have to see that!” Then it hits the theaters, goes to DVD, and you forget about it until it shows up in the Walmart bin months later.

Apple is reportedly gearing up to make big changes to iOS 7, changes so big that it’s had to pull engineers away from OS X 10.9 development to help get it finished for its release later this year. I’m just hoping that the Cupertino company adds some of the features included in the latest iOS 7 concept video below.

Focus Point Beats Native iPad Photos App In Every Way

The iPad is great for photographers, but the built-in Photos app sucks. You can’t change the viewing order. Making albums and moving photos is a multi-tap pain in the ass, and navigating is confusing even for the experienced user.

That’s where Focus Point comes in. It’s a photo-viewing app that’s been around for a while, but the latest update adds enough new goodies to make it worth a look.

Every Retro Gamer Will Want This Atari 2600 iPhone Speaker Dock

Gorgeous. Etsy shop owner Peter Morris has rejuvenated an old Atari 2600 by turning it into an iPhone speaker dock, replete with 6 equalizer settings, an FM radio and a 3.5mm input jack. It’s one of a kind, but if you get in quick, you can buy it for the pricy-but-still-tempting sum of about $ 230.
