Apple Releases iTunes 11.0.2 With Composer View And Bug Fixes

Apple today released an update to iTunes on Windows and Mac. iTunes 11.0.2 is a minor update that address numerous bug fixes and adds the ability to sort music by Composer. The app’s responsiveness has been improved when handling large playlists. You can grab the 54.2 MB update now in the Mac App Store.

iTunes Store Hits New Landmark As It Surpasses 25 Billion Songs Sold


Apple has today announced that its iTunes Store has set yet another record as it surpasses more than 25 billion songs sold. The 25 billionth song to be downloaded was “Monkey Drums” by Chase Buch, and it was purchased by Philip Püpke from Germany, who will receive a €10,000 iTunes Gift Card from Apple.

Apple has today introduced a new featured section to the U.S. iTunes Store called “Breakout Books,” which offers a hand-picked collection of self-published iBooks from emerging talents.
