Apple Kicked AppGratis Out Of The App Store For Push Notifications Violations


Earlier today we reported that Apple mysteriously decided to pull the app discovery service AppGratis from the App Store over the weekend.

Apple confirmed that they have pulled the app from the App Store after it was decided AppGratis violates the App Store guidelines in two major ways.

Dropbox For iOS Gets Push Notifications For Shared Folders, All-New PDF Viewer

Amazon Mobile iOS App Updated With Push Alerts For Shipping And Delivery Updates

Amazon’s popular mobile app for iOS received a significant update today. Version 2.3.1 brings the ability to receive push notifications when a package has shipped and been delivered. Amazon can also send daily alerts for its “Lightning Deals.”

The app’s iPad interface has also been updated with pinch/double-tap-to-zoom for product images and descriptions.

German iOS Users Lose Push E-Mail as Motorola Awarded Injunction Against Apple
