Apple & Tim Cook Sued Over PRISM In Hopes Of Sparking “Second American Revolution”


Last week, a story about the NSA’s top-secret PRISM program broke. According to leaked documents, PRISM is a program in which the NSA is directly able to survey all data stored on the servers of pretty much every tech company under the sun, including Apple.

Apple has firmly denied even hearing about PRISM, but intriguingly, they might be required by law to do so.

Apple Sued By Star Wars Soundmaker, No One Knows Why


Apple has been sued by THX, the company founded by Star Wars producer George Lucas, in a patent case filed in a federal court in Northern California. The case was part of a list of new filings in the court clerk’s office, Bloomberg reports.

No further details about the case, including a copy of the complaint, are available at this point, and Steve Dowling, a spokesman for Apple, hasn’t responded to a request for comment. Jen  [Read More…]

Apple Sued Over Distinctive “Eye Closeup” Photograph Used To Promote Retina MacBook Pro

When Apple first unveiled the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro back in July of this year, they used two images to specifically highlight the incredible resolution of the new display.
