Kids Games With In-App Purchases Under Investigation By U.K. Office Of Fair Trading

The U.K.’s Office of Fair Trading is investigating children’s games that charge in-app purchases for additional content and virtual items. The watchdog will look at games on mobile and on the web, and it’s calling for parents to report titles that “aggressively push” in-app purchases to children.

Google Suspends Trading After Financial Printer Releases Earning Report Without Authorization

It seems financial printer RR Donnelley made one hell of mistake earlier today, causing Google’s stock to drop 9% before Google was able to halt trading. What did they do? They filed an early draft of Google’s earnings without authorization.

Apple Shares Plummet in After-Hours Trading

Apple stock plummeted during after-hours trading today after Steve Jobs announced his resignation. Trading was frozen at $ 376.18 a share for Apple, before the Steve Jobs announced his resignation after the closing bell struck on Wall Street today.
